About the role

There is currently a job opening “Assistant Technician” in the Maintenance Department. As an Assistant Technician you will support the Maintenance personnel along with routine and non-routine maintenance activities. If you're enthusiastic about delving into dynamic opportunities within the aviation industry and eager to contribute to the smooth operation of the company, this role is for you!

 

What you will do:

  • Support licensed technicians in performing maintenance tasks on various aircraft components
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and task coordination
  • Participate in repairs and modifications, ensuring compliance with aviation’s and company’s regulations
  • Adhere to all manuals and guidelines while working on aircraft
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating potential safety hazards in the workplace
  • Report any defective tools or equipment and assist in their replacement or repair

 

 

You fit, if you cover the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Engineering, relevant technical training or certification is a plus
  • Knowledge  of Aviation Legislation, will be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluency in oral and written English, knowledge of aviation terms in English will be considered an asset

  • Working collaboratively
  • Prioritizing and time management
  • Committing strongly to guidelines and procedures
